Commission Original Art

Painted With You, Not Just For You
Commission Original Art by Michael Carini

Private commission abstract painting by San Diego artist Michael Carini - colorful pink and blue swirl

I don't take every commission. I only paint the ones I feel connected to — where my heart and soul are fully in it. This isn't a transaction. It's a collaboration, created with care from our first conversation to the final brushstroke. Contact me to start the conversation.

Why This Is Different:

  • It starts with your story — A feeling, a memory, something you want captured. That's where we begin, from day one.
  • You help name it — Naming the piece is part of the experience. It becomes yours in a way no gallery purchase ever could.
  • You watch it come to life — I document the process so you can watch your piece emerge, with clear communication throughout.
  • A little magic — Sometimes your piece arrives with a surprise extra.
  • On time, every time — I meet my deadlines. Your piece arrives when I say it will.

How It Works:

  • Choose your Carini style — Pick from my available styles, your size, your colors. Add a signature Carini quote or poem, or your own custom message.
  • Abstract, intuitive style — I work in an abstract, intuitive style. Understand that going in — every piece is one of a kind.
  • Ships anywhere — I create work to fit your space, including multi-panel sets. Based in San Diego, shipping worldwide.
  • Flexible rates and terms — Including installments. Owning original art is easier than you think.
  • Personalized on the back — Every piece is signed and personalized.
