VIP Private Art Lessons

Remote sessions available for artists outside San Diego

Join me for a one-on-one VIP art lesson, either remotely, or face to face in San Diego. Choose between a 1-3 hour session where I will share my many years of knowledge and experience. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner or a seasoned professional. I cater each session to you and what you're looking to learn.

What You'll Walk Away With:

• Real-time feedback on your work as you create
• Technique tips and suggestions you can use immediately
• Clear next steps to practice on your own
• Answers to whatever you're stuck on
• A written summary after the lesson with your key takeaways and what to practice next

What We Can Focus On:

• Color mixing and building your palette
• Brushwork, texture, and mark-making
• Composition that actually works
• Layering and glazing
• Abstract exploration
• Finding your own unique voice
• Pushing past creative blocks
• Painting from feeling, not just planning

"Just wanted to pass along many compliments from our guests and team for Michael Carini who led the class at our Beer Lounge in North Park over the weekend! Not only was he a skilled instructor, but very dynamic and enjoyed by the guests. Our BeerTender observed he had the students interacting and helping each other unlike any teacher she'd ever witnessed and many of the participants praised Michael to her following the class."
